Get started today, no website, no code

MONA Pay was originally built for developers wiring webhooks and an API into a website. Most restaurants, salons, Facebook or Zalo shops, and small classes have nobody who codes and no website either. This page is for them: no website, no code, just three steps below.

Who this is for

  • Restaurants and drink shops: the cashier needs to know a transfer landed, without asking the owner “did the money come in yet”.
  • Salons and spas: a customer books and pays a deposit by transfer, and the receptionist needs to confirm the slot right away.
  • Facebook and Zalo shops: a customer says “I sent it” but nobody has actually confirmed the money arrived, and there is no website to attach a payment tool to.
  • Small classes and training centres: parents or students pay tuition by transfer, and staff need to know who has paid without combing through a bank statement.

What you need first

  1. A bank account in your own name (personal or business), where customers will send money. MONA Pay currently connects ACB, with other banks in the process of connecting.
  2. The phone with the number registered to that bank account, since connecting the bank requires confirming with an OTP code.

With both of those, the three steps below take about 10 minutes.

3 core steps

1. Connect your bank account

Create an account at my.monapay.vn, it activates immediately. Under Bank, enter the account number and the phone number registered with the bank. The bank sends two OTP codes in turn: one to create the connection, one to turn on transaction alerts.

2. Pick an alert channel

  • A Zalo or Telegram group: add the MONA Pay bot to a group of 5 to 7 staff, so everyone sees the same alert the moment money arrives.
  • A read-aloud screen at the counter: open a link on a phone or tablet at the counter, tap once to enable audio, and every new payment is read out loud with the amount and note.
  • A verified email address: for an owner who wants to track payments alone.

Print a bank QR code for the counter so customers scan and pay the right account without copying a number by hand, or grab a payment link to send over chat when customers are not on site.

Read the guide that matches your business

The same guide is also available inside the my.monapay.vn dashboard, under Guide, with the same content.
